about Chakras and the Aura

Your body contains many centers of energy known as Chakras (Sanskrit meaning 'spinning wheel of energy'). They are located in your body to help you process the energies that are around and within you. There are seven major energy centers in your body and they directly correlate with your Aura layers and your physical body; think of them as outlets to your personal electrical system. They can be directly affected by harmonics, vibration, and electricity and are stacked together in a central column known as the Hara from the crown of your head to the base of your spine. When you open them and align the centers, you allow your vital life-force (also known as Chi or Prana) to flow freely through.
Each chakra has a specific emotional, physiological and psychological task which it governs in order for the entire chakra system to maintain a healthy overall frequency. These centers can be instrumental in your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energies - relating and working with them. The purpose of working with these energies is to foster integration of all aspects of your being and your life to create a more holistic sense of you and your health or well-being.
When an individual is struggling with a specific area in their life, the associated chakra experiences a loss of energy. If this is not dealt with, congestion builds in the chakra and an energy block is created. The long-term result is a chronic decrease in the amplitude of energy vibration, which in turn leads to the development of physical symptoms such as disease and/or injury.
Chakras connect the energetic webbing of your body (the blue print of your body) with your physical body and the Human Energy Field aka your Aura, which has layers that coincide with the charkas. Chakras appear as swirling vortexes of energy that seem to entrain surrounding energy that is transmitted through the Aura. They can be compared to vortexes such as whirlpools, cyclones, water spouts, and hurricanes. The open end of a normal chakra is about six inches in diameter at a distance of one inch from the body.
The Aura is a vibrating electromagnetical field that interpenetrates and surrounds your body and emits your own individual characteristic radiation. The frequency at which your energy field is vibrating is a direct reflection of your inner state of being. It is place where all the emotions, thoughts, memories, and behavioral patterns lay.
These layers are sometimes called bodies, and they interpenetrate and surround each other in successive layers. Each succeeding body is composed of finer substances and higher "vibrations" than the body that it surrounds and interpenetrates. Many believe that the aura is the "missing link" between biology and psychotherapy.
Treatments will vary to an individuals needs but usually include Meditation, Sound, Visualization, Crystals, and Energy Healing.
"…when the vital field is healthy, there is within it a natural autonomous rhythm….[and] each organ in the body has its corresponding energetic rhythm in the etheric field. Between the spheres of the various organs, the different rhythms interact as if a transfer function were occurring; when the body is whole and healthy, these rhythms transfer easily from organ to organ. However, with pathology [illness], the rhythms as well as the energy levels are changed. For example, the residue of a surgical appendectomy can be perceived in the field.”
