Tibetan singing bowls date back to the late 18th century. Singing Bowls were brought to Tibet from India along with the teachings of Lord Buddha. They are hand made in a wonderful combination of 7 different metals which create 7 different distinct tones. According to tradition, the seven metals correspond with each of the planets,
* Gold = the sun
* Silver = the moon
* Mercury = Mercury
* Copper = Venus
* Iron = Mars
* Tin = Jupiter
* Lead = Saturn
Since Tibetan singing bowls have a very mysterious history it is sometimes hard to find information about them, in fact there is literally no mention of them in the Tibetan Buddhist canon. They can be found in both monasteries and homes, but when questioned about there existence vague answers are usually given. It has been rumored that it is actually forbidden for monks to speak about the singing bowls. Some say that the bowls are used by high lamas in secret rituals, which gives them the ability to travel to different realms and dimensions. In the end one thing remains certain, that singing bowls are a very powerful spiritual tool. In addition to their traditional usage for meditation, Tibetan Singing Bowls are used for Sound Therapy, Meditation, Relaxation, Stress Reduction, Healing, and Reiki.
Singing Bowls produces a wonderful singing sound when they are struck or rubbed by a singing bowls striker/mallet or dowel. Their sound calms the nervous system reviving brain functions and has had successful results in holistic treatments.
Crystal Chakra Bowl
These bowls are made of pure quartz crystal so they resonate with the natural world as well as our bodies, since we are crystalline in form as well. Crystal bowls reawaken our ability to hear and listen on many levels. They have an “other worldly” sound to them. Their vibrations travel through your body and heal on a cellular level. Interestingly, Edgar Cayce predicted that pure tone would be used for healing of cancer by 1998.
Silicone crystal acts as an oscillator, magnifying and transmitting pure tone, for this reason it is being used in telecommunication devices, computers, and even watches. Used with a powerful healing intention, crystal bowls transmit energy into the atmosphere, your electromagnetically field and your physical body. . Tuning Forks
Tuning forks are used to project sound directly into the physical body. It is a sonic massage tool that when placed on acupressure points you can feel the sound travel through your body. One I use is a low toned Ohm sound. The Tibetans believe that this is the sound of the universe and perfection.
Chanting
Chanting is an ancient and universal practice that has been found in many cultures dating back thousands of years such as Buddhist, Christian, Egyptian, Grecian, Nubian and even in Sumerian text. The continuous recitation of mantras using sacred sound and composed of names, words and syllables, is used in meditation, healing, religious, and ritual ceremonies. Some call chanting a primitive way of altering the consciousness and raising psychic power or energy. Others say it connects them with the Divine.

This unique series of recordings is created from original Voyager recordings of the electromagnetic “voices” of the planets and moons in our Solar System. Although space is a virtual vacuum, this does not mean there is no sound in space. Sound does exist as electronic vibrations. The specially designed instruments on board the Voyagers performed special experiments to pick up and record these vibrations, all within the range of human hearing. Voyager explored Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
