Preparation for Healing Sessions

 


Prepaing for a session is simple....


1) Schedule a date and time.

2) Dress comfortably and be prepared to remove all jewelry, accessories, and shoes.

3) Do not eat heavy meals for at least an hour before and after the appointment.

4) Make a list and inform me of any questions, issues, or goals you want to address.

 

     For distance healing I prefer either a good clear photo or name and astrological sign to use as coordinates. You can either email or mail the photo prior to our session, if you decide to use the snail mail, I can either keep the picture for future treatments, or return it if you include a self addressed and stamped envelope.


     Depending on your situation, I recommend committing to 4 sessions to facilitate change – most clients will experience remarkable changes by their fourth session, however, depending on the complexity of your situation, more may be appropriate. You’re complex and multi layered mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health was not created in just a few days therefore removing the issues and stressors that are creating the ill health should not be expected to be completely rebalanced and harmonized in just a few days, though changes can begin to manifest and be felt amazingly quick with the first session.
 

      This number of sessions has significance. The number four in numerology is a manifestation number and is representative of physical creation. There are also four bodies that are addressed; the mind, emotional body, spiritual body, and physical body.

Many people also choose to do periodic maintenance sessions to help keep themselves feeling healthy and to work on spiritual, emotional and growth or goal issues that may arise.

 

     The healing path is not always easy; it is complex, multi layered, and sometimes requires facing deep wounds and ingrained patters of thought, behavior and social programming within you. I sometimes compare it to pealing back layers of an onion. This path requires that you be fully involved in the process and take responsibility for your choices and actions which can lead to making new choices and discoveries about who you are, making positive changes in your life, and healing on a quantum level.


      Working with Children under 18 years old or Animals: At least one parent or caregiver needs to be present at all healing sessions and i recommend to also get worked on because of shared issues and family dynamics, (concept of mirroring). Animals need not be physically present for treatment.

 

      My focus with healing is creating a space of harmony, balance, clarity, and a healthy connection with your essence (who you truly are, your spirit) therefor allowing your body, mind, and emotions to self heal. I do not focus on curing physical problems but instead focus on getting you in a centered place. I have found that if you achieve this balance, harmony, and well-being you have an open connection with your essence. In this state you get clarity, and what is best for you to happen and what is in accordance with your essence, will happen. This leads to amazing benefits, awakenings, changes!

 

How many sessions will I need?

 

       I recommend as a minimum, 4 weekly consecutive sessions preferably followed by 2 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart. It takes at least a few weeks to change a habit or form a new one. The first couple of sessions often produce energetic and physical discharge; the releasing of blocks, stressors and toxins.  The next several sessions are dedicated to harmonizing and balancing the many layers of your being. I also introduce some focused dialog and/or visualizations that allow you to get in touch with areas of challenge or positive intentions while you are in an 'altered state'. This creates a strong mind/body connection and improves the ability to heal. After the initial sessions we evaluate your progress and needs. In order to maintain this alignment, most people benefit from a tune up visit through the year.

 

Can people who feel fine /benefit from a session?

 

       Yes, very much so. People have used various types of energy healing for centuries for healing, to alter their consciousness and attain deeper meditative states. Many clients also treat themselves to a session to gain clarity on an issue, re-vitalize and just feel better and even more connected to the universe.

 

Should I do anything between sessions?

 

       Drink water, eat balanced healthy foods, pay attention to shifts that occur and most importantly be patient with your self. Allow the healing to manifest and let your being take the natural steps that it needs to take to attain balance and harmony. Other recommendations are offered on an individual basis.

 

 

How long will it take to get results?

 

       I can't tell you how long it will take; the healing process is very individual and requires your involvement, I do recommend that you listen to your body for answers. Answers to some of your questions are often simple, and others can get much more involved as we explore the issues and work towards a resolution. We'll do as much as possible in our allotted time, and can always reschedule to do the rest at another time. Ultimately I do want to make clear that I do not interfere with your essence and its higher purpose. Whatever is most in accordance with this will occur and much of experiencing healing depends on what you are willing and able to let in and allow. My focus with healings is creating harmony, balance, and a clear connection with your essence (who you truly are, your spirit) I do not focus on curing physical problems. I have found that if you achieve balance, harmony, and well-being you have an open connection with your essence and what is best for you to happen and is in accordance with your essence will.

 

Self Care

 

       Self-care is an extremely important part of your healing process. The bottom line here is that you are in a constant state of change and flux, reacting and responding to the factors that affect you on multiple levels and dimensions. While you may immediately experience positive changes and results, you could also experience temporary difficulties as your body and mind works on repairing itself. Symptoms may intensify for a short period before relief is felt, so don’t be alarmed if this happens – in fact, these symptoms tell us that the healing sessions are working, supporting the body as it makes changes, addressing problems more aggressively.

 

       It is important to be patient and gentle with yourself as you process and integrate these changes and give yourself what is needed to assist the healing. Be it rest, relaxation, healthy food, plenty of water, etc…If your body must create new neural pathways or generate new tissue or cells as it rebuilds healthier organs, joints, etc., this may take a few weeks or months, depending on the complexity of the task. If for any reason you are unable or unwilling to take the time you need to heal after a session, please let me know as this will directly affect your body’s ability to benefit from the healings.


Private Sessions

 

       The session begins with a combination of focused relaxation to help your mind and body let go of the daily hustle and bustle . You then lie, fully clothed, on a comfortable massage table or mat with various crystals on and around your body. Gentle energy balancing work begins the session to aid your releasing into the sound of the music and sound work. You will experience the deeply healing tones of the bowls, symbols, and tuning fork as they are stuck and sung creating magnificent harmonics that align your energies. Meditation, chanting, or visualizations may also be introduced in sessions.

 

       The sound patterns create a cellular anchor to the memory of balance and wellbeing. To maximize the process I recommend a weekly session for a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks followed by 2 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart. At the end of the 6 sessions we evaluate your progress and discuss the schedule for future sessions. I typically recommend that you continue with "tune-up" sessions several times a year to help maintain the work we have done. There is a discount for booking a series of 4, 6 and 8 sessions.

 

Semi- Private Sessions

 

        This is an enriching and intimate experience for couples, parent and child or good friends. Many clients have shared sessions with friends who are suffering from the effects of chemotherapy or surgery, loss or to enhance a loving bond. This is a relaxing and extremely supportive shared experience that creates a sense of harmony and openness.

 

Group Events

 

  Much more memorable than a wine & cheese party, group sessions are a nurturing, spiritual and re-vitalizing experience for a whole family, group of friends or staff. Sessions can be useful in creating better workplace communication, teamwork and workplace spirituality. Create a very special ambiance at home or bring Spirit into the workplace in a gentle and creative manner.
